FranceFrances Newman, author and librarian, was born in the 1880s in Atlanta, Georgia, and died October 22, 1928, in New York City. A librarian for the Carnegie Library of Atlanta (1913-1923) and for the Georgia Institute of Technology (1924-1926), she was also the author of THE SHORT STORIES MUTATIONS (1924), THE HARD-BOILED VIRGIN (1926), and DEAD LOVERS ARE FAITHFUL LOVERS (1928).
