Ein verlornes Mädchen : Posse mit Gesang in drei Akten mit Benutzung eines älteren Stoffes, 1865, ca. 1878.

Materials related to rehearsal and performance, including a published copy (Berlin: Theater-Commissions-Geschäft von H. Michaelson, 1865; "Den Bühnen gegenüber als Manuscript gedruckt"), which has been annotated as a prompt-book; a handwritten scenario; and 22 handwritten role books, for the following parts: von Knietz-Knaatz; Sidonie, dessen Gemahlin; Louis von Rathen; Pauline; Baron Felsbach; Ferdinand Pichler; Anton Pichler; Wilhelm Pichler; Nanette, Anton Pichler's Tochter; Seidel, Hauseigenthümer und Rentier; Dr. Brand; Frau Kökeritz; Berta/Marie/Auguste (in einer Person zu spielen); Pauker; Ida, Paulinen's Mädchen; Jean, Diener bei Knietz-Knaatz; der Hauswirth; Frau Knusperich; ein Miether; eine Mietherin; ein Tänzer; and Max Knusperich. (The role books are complete as the play was performed, with several minor characters omitted.) On the title page of the published copy is the note: "In Vorbereitung am Friedrich-Wilhelm-Stadt-Theater in Berlin, am Thalia-Theater in Hamburg." Music is attributed to Conradi. (No music is included here.) The published copy and the role books are all labeled by hand as the property of Theodor Bloch, who was active in German-language theater in Philadelphia from 1873 until at least the mid 1890s, first as an actor and later as a prompter, and who also ran a theater lending library. Names of actors and actresses noted on the covers are familiar from the casts of other German-language plays in Philadelphia and seem to reflect a cast that would have performed around 1878. (The collection's holdings of theater newspapers and playbills contain no reference to this play.)
