Correspondence to Alma Mahler, 1900.

Correspondence which Alma Mahler inserted between the pages of her diary: 1 poem ("Viviane"), and 3 letters on black-bordered stationery. See Tagebuch-Suiten ed. by Beaumont and Rode-Breymann, diary entries for: 16. March, 21. April (the facsimile given in the published diaries is only the first page), and 5. May (all in Suite 17); and 24. Nov. (Suite 20). The editors' notes to the published diaries give German translations of the last two letters. The letters are in French but with an occasional German phrase.
