A single letter from 1904 was a covering letter enclosing Ida Dehmel's appeal in honor of the poet Detllev von Liliencron's 60th birthday. Several letters in 1925 convey Ida Dehmel's admiration for Gustav Mahler, including expressive comments about her experience of hearing his fifth symphony, in 1905, and a memorable conversation that she had with him on the following day and recorded in detail in her diary; these letters also document an exchange between Ida and Alma concerning their work in editing volumes of letters of their respective deceased spouses, and their reading of each other's volumes. Finally, 3 communications in 1930 to 1931 pertain mainly to Ida Dehmel's efforts to establish an organization for women artists in Vienna; Margarete Hauptmann and Amanda (Andy) Zsolnay are mentioned. Ida Dehmel sometimes signs her letters "Frau Isi." Also included is an original postcard from Richard Dehmel dated 1914, when he was a soldier on the front in World War I; and the original manuscript of Ida Dehmel's 9-1/2-page-long diary entry from March 22, 1905, recording her conversation with Gustav Mahler (the latter was published by Alma Mahler in her book Gustav Mahler - Erinnerungen und Briefe).
