William Benjamin Hillard Comstock was a prominent vocal music director in Pennsylvania in the middle of the twentieth century. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in October 1908, Comstock graduated from Lancaster High School in 1927 and continued his education in music at the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music and the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
