Fleischmann's boating diary documents his purchase of the catboat Wave in Long Island in 1903, the cruise back from Long Island to the Red Dragon Canoe Club, and additional maintenance, repairs, and cruising until his sale of the boat in the autumn of 1905. Additional materials compiled by former owner Edward G. Brownlee include transcriptions and research notes on the contents of the diary.
