Gibson discusses playing in the Philadelphia Orchestra under Stokowski and in other orchestras when Stokowski was guest conductor; and watching the recording of Fantasia from the gallery as a student at the Curtis Institute. He speaks positively of Stokowski's Bach transcriptions. He mentions Ormandy, Mitropoulos, Charlie O'Connell, and Harl McDonald.
