Abram discusses a performing Britten's piano concerto under Stokowski's direction and recalls social interactions with Stokowski during his marriage to Gloria Vanderbilt. He remembers attending his first orchestra concert as a young piano student at the Curtis Institute. He also mentions Ima Hogg and Leon Fleisher.
