Elizabeth and her husband David Brockman describe meeting their neighbor Stokowski in 1956; introducing orchestra concerts to Central Park when Joe Papp was head of Shakespeare in the Park; early meetings for forming and financing the American Symphony Orchestra; introducing Stokowski to Sam and Cyma Rubin; and hosting the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra in their home with Stokowski as honored guest.
