Ruth O'Neill discusses her personal relationship with Stokowski and Olga Samaroff Stokowski during Stokowski's earliest years with the Philadelphia Orchestra, mentioning conductor Karl Pohlig, manager Arthur Judson, Orchestra board members Cyrus Curtis and Edward Bok. Other topics include Stokowski's programming of Stravinsky, Schubert, Wagner, and Mahler, particularly preparations for his performance of Mahler's Symphony no. 8; recordings for RCA Victor; his trip from Munich to Rotterdam in 1914; his working relationships; nicknames; and his daughter Sonya. Daniel's notes include photocopies of 2 items to O'Neill from Stokowski, 1928; Columbia Artists Management memos; and correspondence to Arthur Judson from Sydney M. Kaye and others, 1947-1956, folders 313-314.
