Photographs documtent or provide supplementary information about the artifacts and works of art in the collections of the Museums at Stony Brook; document the local history of the Stony Brook area, of Suffolk County and of Long Island in general; or provide examples of original historic photographic materials that relate to the interpretation of the Art and History Collections at the Museums.
