Phipps include correspondence with George Crawley and various craftsmen concerning the construction of Westbury House, 1904-1908, and later alterations to the house; bills for construction and furnishings; personal correspondence with his family; correspondence and other records of his financial affairs; and papers on maintaining the house and grounds and running the estate at Old Westbury, including a dairy farm, 1920's-1947, with letters, telegrams, time books, payroll records, work assignments and instructions, dairy herd records, workers compensation records and freight bills.
