Photoprints, albums, negatives, and glass plates of people, places, and events in Nassau County, N.Y. Special segments of the collection include photographs by Henry Otto Korten (1866-1915) of Nassau and Suffolk County communities to be used as postcard illustrations, ca. 1904-1914; photographs by Richard Averill Smith (1897-1970) of Long Island estates, gardens, statuary, and homes, ca. 1920-1940; negatives and prints of John Patrick Drennan (1906-1986), professional photographer, including shots of aviation subjects; and photographs taken during the Historic American Buildings Survey in the 1930s. Other subjects include auto races, aviation, county officials and government, Mineola Fair, railroads, Roosevelt Raceway, historic buildings, Saddle Rock Grist Mill, and Old Bethpage village restoration.

The Hampton Lillibridge House was built in 1796 by Rhode Island native, Hampton Lillibridge in the traditional New England style. The house was originally located at 310 East Bryan Street in Savannah, Georgia, but when it was purchased by antiques dealer, Jim Williams, in 1963 it was moved to its present location at 507 East Julian Street in Savannah, where it is known as one of Savannah's most haunted homes.
