Record book collection, 1746-1937.

Logbooks, account books, diaries, minute books, notebooks and other record books of Southampton residents and businesses. Organizational records include minutes of the Southampton Association, 1936-1937; letterbooks of the Meadow Club of Southampton, 1894-1904; records of the Southampton Ladies Relief Union, 1861; and tax list for School District 8, 1886-1889. Account books include records of a blacksmith, a shoemaker, a garage and a local potato farmers; also a ledger of Elias Pelletreau, 1800, account book of John Sayre, 1746; ledger of William F. and Henry Bishop, 1881-1890; accounts of Nathan Cooper, 1797-1832; and of the Reverend W. H. Seely, 1870-1880 and 1891-1896. Diaries of Charles Wooley, 1816; Egbert Hildreth, 1893-1894; Elmer Van Brunt, 1897; W. D. Van Brunt, 1917; and J. B. Early, 1914. Also miscellaneous autograph albums, hotel registers, genealogical notes and other records.
