Four notebooks containing letters, bills, accounts, leases, clippings, bonds, and deeds concerning his distillery business, his interest in the Grand Belt Copper Company, property matters, and his estate. Other items include a copy of his father Samuel S. Ferguson's will, and three letters from Yates to his daughter Mary M. Ferguson (later Mrs. H. Hobart Keeler), 1870-1875.
