Daguerreotypes, tintypes, ambrotypes, photoprints, cabinet cards, cartes de visite, albumen prints, cyanotype prints, ferrotypes, lithographs, photographs, slides, and postcards of family members, Mastic home interiors and exteriors, Mastic outbuildings, cemetery, landscape, boundary waters, gardens, 1938 hurricane damage, animals, group pictures, trips to Europe, Cuba, Vermont, and other locations in the United States, vacation scenes, Fire Island, and other family property, and all objects on the estate, 1840-1988 Also, twenty albums containing family portraits, Civil War soldiers, weddings, and trips, in addition there are nineteen volumes of slides of the property, portraits, events, artifacts, family and slave and "colored retainers" cemeteries, interior and exterior views of the manor house, related historic sites, and construction and maintenance activities, 1970-1988. The collection also contains photographs of Poosapatuck Indian residents, buildings at "Moss Lots" (William S. Dana Estate), and a few sailing vessels.
