Photographs and postcards, many arranged in albums, illustrating the history of the Middle Island area, including Coram and Yaphank. Topics covered in depth include the villages of Coram and Yaphank; Camp Upton in World War I and World War II; railroad stations, engines and bridges; and the 1938 hurricane on Long Island. There are also photographs of the Cathedral Pines in Middle Island (now a Suffolk County Park); Edward Pfeiffer's store, Middle Island; the wireless tower built by Nikola Tesla; "Longwood," an estate of the Smith family; a Ku Klux Klan parade in Patchogue, ca. 1925; and miscellaneous photographs of buildings, roads, and agriculture.
