Records consist primarily of correspondence, memoranda, and notes summarizing meetings and conferences covering the period when Bell was Vice President of the International Division. The files document activities of overseas offices, annual meetings of the Board of Trustees and its committees; activities of the international agricultural center and its Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research; and the Foundation's Population Program. Correspondents include McGeorge Bundy, Henry Ford II, Alexander Heard, Suedjatmoko, Patricia Ward, and organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, Overseas Development Council, and various United Nations agencies.
