Preston (1818-1891) consist of account books with some diary entries concerning farming and livestock and mill accounts, 1831-1869; account and sales book of Wheeler & Preston, South Dover, 1847-1850; and account book of Wing & Preston, 1847-1849. Other items include school essay book of Mary Ella Preston, 1860-1862; record book of school attendance and grades including those of Ella and Nelly Preston, 1861-ca. 1864; ledger of Bivor and Sanford, 1831-1870, also containing a short journal kept by Julian Hunt and an account of the purchase of Red Lion House, 1939; and miscellaneous ledgers and accounts, 1803-1852.
