Photographs illustrating Morden's journey over mountain trails from Kashmir to the Ladakh District showing the natives of the valleys and plateaus and their lives, including buildings of religious significance such as the Sheh Monastery and Ringdzon Lamasery. Also, views of the camp life of the expedition crew, and mammals such as Tibetan antelopes and yaks. Areas of the Himalayas Morden visited include India, Pakistan, Tibet, Kashmir, Ladakh, and Baltistan.
