Men of the Montaña exhibition photographs, 1951-1954.

Photographs showing views of the exhibition entitled "Men of the Montaña: A story of Life in the Peruvian Rainforest." Exhibit includes a Cashibo warrior (Peruvian Indian) in a forest setting, five cases comparing artifacts from the Montaña with those from the Andes and the lower Amazon and displays on agriculture, warfare, decorative art, personal adornment, recreation, and ceremonies. Also shows Museum preparators, Ludwig Ferraglio and John Babyak among others, working on the exhibit. Photographs were taken by Alex J. Rota, Leon Boltin, and Thane L. Bierwert. Photographs are identified.
