Photographs recording the Crocker Land Expedition. Members of the expedition were Donald B. MacMillan, W. Elmer Ekblaw, Maurice C. Tanquary, Jerome Lee Allen, Jonathan Cook Small, Fitzhugh Green, and Harrison J. Hunt. For part of the expedition Edmund Otis Hovey was also a member. Photographs were taken by Hovey and MacMillan. Copy photographs by Julius Kirchner. Photographs are identified.

Edmund Otis Hovey was a geologist and museum curator. He joined the American Museum of Natural History in 1894 as assistant curator in the Dept. of Geology and Paleontology, becoming associate curator in 1901 and curator in 1910.
