Scrapbooks containing news clippings about expeditions sponsored by the Museum, such as Margaret Mead's anthropological work and Roy Chapman Andrews' explorations in the Gobi Desert of China, scientific discoveries, exhibitions, events directed toward the public, news about the Museum's staff, and acquisitions including the gift of one of Charles A. Lindgergh's airplanes to the Museum, 1928-1933. One scrapbook contains a variety of printed matter about the Museum, including tickets to public lectures, special events, and the laying of the cornerstone, invitations to opening of exhibition halls, announcements of lectures and meetings, programs, blank forms and stationery, and copies of the constitution and bylaws.

Charles Augustus Lindbergh (February 4, 1902 – August 26, 1974) was an American aviator, military officer, author, inventor, and activist.
