Peale's manuscript entitled "Lectures on the Fine Arts," late 1830s; and his unpublished manuscript with sketches, "Notes of the Painting Room," describing his artistic techniques, ways of mixing pigments, and other related technical subjects from notes probably begun in the 1840s and completed by 1852. Also, prospectus to raise funds to publish his completed "Notes" and Peale's membership certificate for the American Academy of the Fine Arts, 1832.
