The largest part of the collection pertains to the "Good-News Letter," a mimeographed monthly letter to local men and women in the armed services during World War II concerning news and events in Catskill and vicinity, and includes copies of the newsletter, records of address changes, and letters received from servicemen and women, 1942-1946; other items include scrapbooks kept by Bagley of clippings, photographs, and newsletters on war loans, civil defense, and local servicemen and women, 1940-1945; and files of clippings, reports, newsletters, and other items concerning municipal and civic affairs in Catskill and Bagley's work on the "Good-News Letter."
