Also included are correspondence and legal and financial documents of members of the Van Norden family, particularly Warner Van Norden, a New York City banker. Theodore L. Of note are correspondence and legal documents, 1909, relating to a lawsuit between Ottomar and Warner Van Norden; correspondence, 1910-1912, from Warner and Grace Van Norden to Warner's father while on a trip to Germany, Austria, China, and Prague, Czechoslovakia (purpose of the trip is kept secret); and letters, 1912-1916, written by Theodore Roosevelt from the office of THE OUTLOOK to Theodore L. Van Norden, 1916, requesting a meeting at the OUTLOOK office in order to discuss "certain phases of the state situation;" a letter of introduction, 1912, for Theodore L. Van Norden to Mr. Perkins; and a letter, 1912, to Henry L. Stoddard concerning OUTLOOK business and mentioning Theodore L. Van Norden.
