Also, accounts, 1870-1872, relating to the estate of William H. Smith; a certificate of membership, 1826, issued to Charles Smith by the Mercantile Library Association, New York City; two undated letters, mid to late 19th century, from schoolmaster Mr. [H.D.] Myrick to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith concerning their sons Matthew and Charles Vandevoort, discussing payment of tuition and apologizing to the Smiths for leaving their sons alone while he was "down on some business;" and bills of sale, mortgages, agreements, deeds, accounts, and contracts, relating to the purchase and maintenance of houses owned by Charles Smith in Tuscarora and Aurelius, N.Y., 1830-1860, largely 1840.
