Included are Polish documentary and historical films made in Poland before 1938, during World War II outside of Poland, and later. Many of these, including THE LIFE AND WORK OF JÓZEF PIŁSUDSKI and PIŁSUDSKI'S FUNERAL concern Józef Piłsudski. Also included is a documentary film ROBOTNICY 80 made in the Gdansk shipyard during talks between the government and workers at the beginning of the Solidarity movement in August of 1980. Other topics include the Katyn Forest massacre, the Warsaw uprising of 1944, and other topics.
