Registry files, which are the office's central files, consist primarily of correspondence and numerous other types of documents on such topics as delegations, committees, site proposals for the United Nations, and public relations. Non-registry files, 1945-1946, contain documents not entered into the Central Registry, and include minutes, attendance lists, correspondence, reports, and working papers of technical committees, and miscellaneous correspondence and documents of the United Nations Preparatory Commission, the Secretary-General, and the General Assembly. Also included are incoming and outgoing cables from governments and other sources; printed documents, 1945-1946, including journals, administrative and executive circulars, press releases, and miscellaneous documents, some in French. Also contains bound verbatim minutes of the Committee on the General Assembly, the Committee on the Security Council, the Committee on the Economic and Social Council, the Committee on the Trusteeship Council, the Committee on Legal Questions, the Committee on the League of Nations, and the Committee on General Questions.
