Correspondence, diaries, financial receipt books, and other papers (dated chiefly 1850-1880) of the Prince family of Flushing, especially William Robert Prince (1795-1869), horticulturist and nurseryman, and his son LeBaron Bradford Prince (1840-1922), jurist and politician. Chief subjects are the Prince nursery business, Republican Party affairs, and local politics in New York State, particularly in Queens. Other family members represented include William Prince, Jr. (1766-1842), nurseryman and father of William Robert Prince; Charlotte Prince Henry, daughter of William Robert Prince; and her husband Edwin Henry.
