Agreements to establish St. John's College (predecessor of St. John's University) and application for incorporation, 1868-1872; diary of Vincentian Fathers describing events at St. John's College, 1865-1891; and report cards and correspondence concerning students, 1904-1911. Historical and statistical data about schools and colleges of University. Other historical material includes reports, brochures, news clippings, commencement programs, photographs depicting various departments and schools, special events and activities, 1927-1955. Also, photographs of faculty, administrators and various events, 1907-ca. 1950; a scrapbook of news clippings, invitations and programs about St. John's University and Church of St. John the Baptist, operated by Vincentian Fathers, 1875-1930; brochures about athletic events, 1940-1950; and blueprints of a proposed dormitory, 1968.
