Papers consist primarily of correspondence by others about Lord Byron, and include some letters to Lord Byron. Miscellaneous documents relating to Byron's life and work include a list of subscribers to the Byron Memorial Fund, 1876; an invitation, issued to E.J. Trelawny, to the Byron Club, 1876; correspondence and legal documents, 1822, resulting from an incident known as the "Pisan Affray;" a travel journal, 1820-1822, by William Newton Street mentioning a visit to the Rome studio of Thorvaldsen, who was working on a bust of Byron; a list of medicinal items ordered by Byron, 1819; a drawing of Byron's schooner, n.d.; a commonplace book, 1809, and diary, 1830, kept by Lady Noel Byron; a draft of BYRON: A BIOGRAPHY by Leslie Marchand, n.d.; and travel documents, will, accounts, and correspondence, 1821-1826 of Pietro Gamba.
