Also, contains files on secret discussions with Nazis to ransom Jews of Hungary, including correspondence, telegrams, memoranda, minutes, and reports to JDC, War Refugee Board, Vaad Hatzala, and others, concerning meetings with Nazi Col. Kurt Becher, and Hungarian Jewish leader, Dr. Rudolf Kastner, 1944-1945. Also, includes material on Kastner-Gruenwald libel trial in Israel, 1955-1956, and papers on affair by Yehuda Bauer, 1977; and material on other negotiations, including Joel Brand and Isaac Sternbuch-Jean-Marie Musy affairs. Organizational files include correspondence, memoranda, reports, and notes regarding United States government agencies, especially War Refugee Board, 1944-1945; Agudat Israel, 1942-1945; Comite International de la Croix-Rouge, 1944-1948; Weltzentrale des Hechaluz, 1941-1945; and Union OSE (Oeuvre de Secours aux Enfants), 1942-1945.
