Henry A. (Henry Allan) Gleason (1882-1975) was a taxonomist, ecologist and administrator at the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG). His specialty was Melastomataceae. During his career at the NYBG he served as Curator, Head Curator and Assistant Director. He was Acting Director from 1936-1938.
