Papers, 1934-1959.

Papers include a scrapbook, 1930's, containing clippings of articles and his humor column "Light Whines" written for Brooklyn College publications: PIONEERS (weekly newspaper), and POTPOURRI (literary magazine). Also notices from student groups, including POTPOURRI. One issue of POTPOURRI, 1934-1935, is autographed by classmates and contains photographs of two of its editors. Freeman's later work includes script of "Borderline," 1949; and television screeplays he produced including "Martin's Folly," 1958, with shooting schedule, set descriptions, and budget, and "Six Guns for Donegan," 1959 with shooting schedule, set descriptions, memo, and photographs of the production.
