Collection consists of a variety of material used in the production of movies including THE WIZ, filmed at Astoria Studios, 1978; ALL THAT JAZZ, 1979; DEATHTRAP, 1981; EQUUS, 1977; JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT; and PRINCE OF THE CITY, 1980. Majority of material is from THE WIZ and includes costume sketches, location boards, numerous set renderings and many design boards made of foam core with photographs and cut-outs. Production manual includes shot locations and annotated script with sketches and slides. Also production sketches and many photographs of costume models and designs, set designs, and the actual set. There is a smaller amount of material for Walton's other movies and these include tracings of set designs, blueprints, design boards, photographs of sets, locations, and costume designs; production paper; posters advertising movies; and scripts for all the above listed movies except EQUUS. In addition, collection contains research photographs for television version of DEATH OF A SALESMAN.
