History of the Astoria Studios is documented by architectural plans and records pertaining to the use of the motion picture studios by the United States Army from 1942-1971, as well as through a series of oral history tapes. Many of the collections, especially those from the 1970's-1985, relate to movies made at Astoria Studios.
