Production papers, photographs, scripts, news clippings, promotional materials, and press kits documenting the history of the motion picture industry in the United States. History of the Astoria Studios is documented by architectural plans and records pertaining to the use of the motion picture studios by the United States Army from 1942-1971, as well as through a series of oral history tapes. Many of the collections, especially those from the 1970's-1985, relate to movies made at Astoria Studios.
