Daily journal entries, 1938-1942, which covers his work as director of the Council for Social Action of the Congregational Church, his travels and writings, and political and international affairs. Also included are manuscripts of three unpublished books: "Hope is our Heritage," "Three Square Meals and a Rose," and "The Malady of Man." The latter manuscript is accompanied by comments from the MacMillan Company, 1946. Also included are two of his published works: HIGHWAYS OF THE SPIRIT, 1936, and BY FAITH, 1938. In addition, a memorial address for Bradley, 1958.
