Deeds collection, 1697-1965 (bulk 1800-1925)

The bulk of the deeds in the Deeds Collection are dated from 1800-1925 and concern land in the Town of Queensbury, New York. Many of them have been transferred from the Alexander Miller Collection and are dated 1803-1925. Some of these deeds involve Lewis Numan. Another smaller group of deeds, dated ca. 1800-1821 concerns Asa Stover and the Tripp family and also relates to lands in Queensbury. Another group of deeds involves members of the Wing family, especially Halsey R. and Abram Wing, and members of the Leavens family. In addition, there are various miscellaneous deeds: for John G. Haviland, 1835, 1839, concerning land in Queensbury; for Clara Martin, 1918 and 1965, for land in Lake George; and also a map describing lots located at Glen and Bay Streets in Glens Falls, 1809.
