Program for the 1st Annual Reunion of Civil War Veterans of Washington County to be held in Salem, August 26, 1879. Veterans of the War of 1812 were invited to attend. The program lists the names of participants in the review, overseen by Gen. James C. Rogers, President of the Association. S. W. Russell was the Marshall. Doring's Band provided music, Salem dignitaries addressed the crowd, and local glee clubs sang. The program also contains numerous advertisements for Salem businesses.
