New York Civil War Centennial Commission files, 1952-1969.

These files are maintained by the headquarters of the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs and contain correspondence, documents, official releases and photographs relating to the business of the New York Civil War Centennial Commission. Maj-Gen. A.C. O'Hara, Chief of Staff to the Governor, was a member of the Commission. The material relates to the planning, scheduling and the actual commemoration of the centennial.
