Financial Records, 1859-1882.

Consists of 30 volumes detailing Young's financial affairs and position as Trustee-in-Trust for the LDS Church. Other account books include: daybooks for the Brigham Young store in the Beehive House, Employee Pay Register, Carding Books, Checkbooks (one covering Young's railroad construction cantract in Echo and Weber Canyons, 1869), rent receipts from the Young Estate, and memoranda from his Barn and the Globe Bakery. Financial papers include purchase invoices from ZCMI (1869-1875), invoices and accounts from the B.K. Tannery, deeds and land transfers, 1852-1873. Of special interest are "Memoranda for Tabernacle at Centerville Ward," "Inventory of the B.Y. Store, January 1866," "Accounts Due Brigham Young, October, 1866," a series of "Military Orders and Inventories, July 16, 1857 to September 18, 1863,"
