Holograph draft of poem by Rudyard Kipling to "Alex" and "Ted" (Prof. and Mrs. S.A. Hill), signed and dated December 25, 1888. Includes handwritten note by E.T. Hill dated Sept. 1924 with explanation that this poem was written before Kipling knew he was going to accompany the Hill's on the Sea to Sea trip in 1889.
