These are the official papers generated by the activities of Frank G. Clement during his tenure as Governor of Tennessee for three administrations: 1953-1955, 1955-1959, and 1963-1967. Each term of office is designated as a subgroup; and the papers are arranged in series according to the type of document: correspondence, speeches, proclamations, extraditions, financial records, lists, photographs, press releases, and scrapbooks. The Correspondence Series are divided into subseries by department and subject (Executive Departments, judicial, legislative, counties, courtesy letters, issue mail, etc.).
