Registers of teaching certificates issued, 1908-1951.

This series provides information on recipients of all varieties of teaching certificates issued by the Education Department. These include certificates entitling the licensee to hold administrative positions in schools (e.g. school principal) as well as to teach. A great variety of teaching certificates were issued based on years of teacher training, previous general education, and examination results.
