Register of bonds for the New York and Erie Railroad Company, 1847.

This series consists of a register of bonds issued to raise funds for the construction of the New York and Erie Railroad Company. The register contains copies of the original bonds - each of which is registered, countersigned, and compared with the original bond and is signed by Archibald Campbell, Deputy Secretary of State. There are 3,000 entries in the register, numbered from 1 to 3,000. All entries are for the amount of $1,000 and are dated August 17, 1847.
