Diary, 23 April-29 August, 1864, kept by Dickson as chaplain with the PA Volunteers reporting on activity during the Wilderness, Spotsylvania and Petersburg Campaigns and the North Anna River and Cold Harbor battles. Rear of volume contains a list of men killed in action, May 19, 1864 and some miscellaneous accounts.
