Includes Bacon's accounts as Auditor General for Virginia, reported to Blathwayt as Auditor-General for Plantation Revenues. Discusses the payment of a share of Virginia quit rents to Thomas, Lord Culpeper. Also, the seizure of the ship "Society," out of Bristol and its cargo of slaves and ivory, the absence of Governor Frances Howard, Baron Howard of Effingham, who is due to return from New York, and potential problems with the Indians. Makes reference to [John] Jeffreys, [Robert] Smith, and William Cole.
