Studies of ancient buildings in Rome in measured drawings, include plans, sections, elevations, and details, with some annotations. Most were drawn by Muttoni who notes that he collected some of the drawings and that they are in the style of Palladio. The buildings represented are: the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Septimius Severus, the Baths of Diocletian, the Theater of Marcellus, the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli, the Arch of Titus, the Temple of Bacchus, the Temple of Septimius Severus, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, the Temple of Mars, the Altar of Peace, and the Temple of Fortuna.
