Concerning artistic and personal matters generally, in particular discussing his patrons, his own work and the work of his correspondent. Albani mentions Giovanni Bolognini and provides an interesting list of foods he has recently enjoyed; he also furnishes information on his travels. Included is a letter (1659) in which Albani discusses problems with his wife and her bad attitude towards his art students using his home for their classes. He also mentions a painting executed for the Grand Duchess of Tuscany.
